Misty and Monty Stacked!

Catstacked: Misty and Monty
Whatstacked: Themselves
Catstacker: Heather

It’s been awhile since the cats have been stacked, hasn’t it? But this morning Heather has a funny photo of her two cats stacking themselves for you to enjoy! There’s just nothing better or warmer than getting stacked by your friend. As we know in the catstacking community, however, such a stack can be difficult and ultimately very dangerous!

Thanks for putting us back on track Heather, and we hope to see more advanced catstackery from everyone now that the weather is getting colder!

Mitzi Boy and Girl, Basil Stacked!

Stacker River sent us three pictures of the family’s cats practicing their catstackery skills. Who’s the best catstackathelete in the family? We’ll leave that up to you to decide. Thanks River and friends for all the hard work!

Catstacked: Mitzi Girl
Catstacker: River
Whatstacked: Gaggle of stuffed leopards

“This picture captures the queen of the leopards, a wild cat found in the mountains of stackonia, cuddling with her cubs.”

Catstacked: Mitzi Boy
Catstacker: River
Whatstacked: Bags, sunglasses, grass

“I was on my way to school and so excited that we were having a field trip that I climbed a tree, but unexpectedly I fell out and all my belongings from my bag fell on top of me. :(

Catstacked: Basil
Catstacker: River
Whatstacked: Stuffed cats

“I came home to find a family of bobcats on my bed…ahhhhh!”

Loki Stacked!

Catstacked: Loki
Catstacker: Capri
Whatstacked: Stuffed animal, blow-up duck, ball

Loki is back with another catstack attack! From the confines of his secret lair, Loki finds a happy pile of henchmen piled on top of his back. His fierce eyes dart about, contemplating what to stack next. And it looks like Loki is wearing a bell. Common opinion would probably say that’s to keep Loki from sneaking up on birds, but we know the truth: it’s really a catstacking indicator. When all is quiet, Loki is stacking. Thanks, Loki and Capri!

Samson Stacked!

Catstacked: Samson
Catstacker: Tami
Whatstacked: Baby toys

We love to see all these repeat stackers coming in! Today we have a stack by Samson. Though the addition of a baby to his family has left little time on the schedule for stackery, he has managed to work in a teetering pile of baby distractors. As you can see it’s incredibly hard work stacking AND avoiding the baby. Still, Samson remains ever alert and energized for the task at hand. Thanks Tami and Samson!

Mr. Boo Stacked!

Catstacked: Mr. Boo
Catstackers: Corinna and Cara
Whatstacked: Toys

Mr. Boo, repeat World Champion stacker, is back today showing off by stacking a load of toys! While it may be difficult to notice for the casual observer, Mr. Boo’s eyes are filled with the raw glint of pure concentration that only extreme catstackery can bring. We notice these things at catstackers.com and applaud heartily. Corinna notes that Mr. Boo is currently being employeed as “the official transport system for all household toys” in order to earn his keep. Thanks, Corinna, Cara and Mr. Boo!

Miles and Abigail Stacked!

Catstacked: Miles
Catstacker: Angelie
Whatstacked: Mouse Collection

Miles and his stacking assistant Angelie have come through this week with a new stack for you to peruse! Miles has quite handily stacked his collection of mouse buddies. He’s even managed to open his eyes for a few seconds: impressive! And difficult! If those were real mice we can only imagine that Miles wouldn’t be as sedate. Angelie has also sent us a bonus stack! Her story for this picture is: “My brother came down for the weekend and while we were visiting my parents, he joined in on the stacking experience. He stacked my parent’s neighbor’s cat who was in the yard begging for anyone’s attention.” He certainly got some attention, didn’t he? Thanks Angelie, Miles and catstacking vict- I mean, friend.

Embla Stacked!

Catstacked: Embla
Catstacker: Klaartje
Whatstacked: table mats and wooden spoons

This is Embla’s first stack! She is 2 months old and the new sister of Ask, who has been featured on Catstackers before. I don’t know what it is they put in Dutch kitties’ milk, but they sure are cute! Embla looks like she has taken to catstackery with an enthusiastic snarl: pep and energy are definitely something we like to see cats bringing to their stacks! Embla looks like she is training hard to keep up with her brother. Thanks Embla and Klaartje!

PS: Read about the origin of the cats’ names here!

Houdini Stacked!

Catstacked: Houdini
Catstacker: Sheree-Joy
Whatstacked: Office DVDs, candle, clock, small chest, photo frame

Houdini is back with some new tricks for you this week! Does he plan on making like his namesake to escape from this potentially crushing pile of endtablenilia? No! He’s sitting strong, at peace under a world-class bit of catstackery! His focus is so intense that it appears his eyes may be closing just a wee bit. Owner Sheree-Joy notes that Houdini really does like relaxing while watching The Office. Thanks guys!

Boomer Stacked!

Catstacked: Boomer
Catstacker: Admin and daughter of Admin
Whatstacked: CD case, pencil case, stuffed animals

Today we have a two-fer stack from Boomer! In the first of these stacks he is delicately balancing a CD case and a pencil case. This stack was completed by my 7 year-old and was miraculously sturdy enough to remain upright for 4 pictures. The second stack is a rare stomach stack. Boomer doesn’t like stuff being stacked on his stomach at all, but if he’s sacked out enough and the stacking material is unobtrusive enough he does a really nice job!

Tinky Stacked!

Catstacked: Tinky
Catstacker: Joanna
Whatstacked: Spookie

Food-stackee Tinky is back today and she’s been stacked with…her friend Spookie! Cats stacked on cats is a particularly difficult stack, unless the cats help you out a bit and get comfy during the process. Tinky and Spookie look like they’re enjoying a little respite from the rigorous world of competitive catstackery. Everyone needs a bit of summer vacation! Thanks Joanna, Tinky and Spookie!
